Below is an archive of work and articles by Newson Engineering:

Hello readers, well it has been a while since we posted anything on our blog, so eyes down for the latest news from Newson Engineering week ending 4th August 2012.

June proved to be a steady one with generator servicing & air-conditioning repairs on "Geni", Tender repairs & replacement of anodes on "Firecracker",General repairs & diagnostics on stabilisers on "Sea Raider IV", deck lighting repairs, master suite lighting repairs & tender outboard diagnostics on "Cheeky Tiger", generator diagnostics on "Wedge III" & generator servicing on another new yacht to our fleet "Bin Roudhan".

July proved to be even busier with more generator serving on "Firecracker", we also had a great opportunity to carry out a whole load of work on another new yacht to of our fleet, the 30m Moonen "Happy Daze", we carried service works on both Man main engines, including removal overhaul & replacement of fuel injection pumps & injectors, gearboxes & hydraulics. We also went down to Corsica to carry out services to the main engines & generators on "Sea Raider IV" as well as fitting a new sea water circulating pump for the air-conditioning system. There was more generator servicing on "Justeni", toilet repairs on "Geni", generator servicing, general electrical repairs,  windlass serving, hydraulic garage door repairs & water maker re-commissioning on "Springbok II". We also welcome the 72' Oyster "Spirit of Montpelier" to our fleet, with repairs to their master toilet, passerelle & replacement of their main fresh water pump. Another new yacht "Pasha Nero" with some repairs to leaky sea water hoses in their engine room as well as hydraulic hoses on their garage door. We also carried some diagnostics & repairs to the Onan generators on "Princess Lily", We also had the opportunity to replace a number of leaking fuel lines on the main engines on "Wedge III".

Well that pretty much sums up the months of June & July, in other news we have the pleasure of carrying out electrical installation works on "Blade" next month along with MJM, we have just had confirmation of a return to California for the annual service works on "Maria Emilia" in October.

Here's looking forward to an equally busy & challenging august, until then its bye for now, from the team at Newson Engineering.
